Choose, start or transfer Google Workspace with confidence.

This is Notify-IC’s maintained guide to Workspace plans, reseller trials and subscription transfers. It replaces our older G Suite pages, screenshots, PDFs and transfer-token instructions.

Updated transfer process

Transfer subscription management to Notify-IC

Google’s current flow is under Account → Reseller management. The older /TransferToken page and “transfer your domain” wording are no longer the right customer journey.

Request the correct Notify-IC Public Identifier

Contact our team with your primary domain, current Workspace edition, user count, billing currency and current provider. We will confirm the correct reseller account and plan before you generate authorization.

Sign in as a super administrator

Open admin.google.com using a super administrator account. A delegated reseller administrator cannot generate this authorization for you.

Select the subscription to transfer

Under subscriptions from Google or your current reseller, find the subscription and select Transfer. Product-group subscriptions must move together.

Enter Notify-IC’s Public Identifier

Paste the identifier provided by our team, continue, and choose the product groups you want Notify-IC to manage. Keep other product groups with Google or the current reseller when appropriate.

Generate the transfer authorization

Review Google’s terms, select the agreement box and choose Generate transfer authorization. If Notify-IC cannot complete the transfer, Google advises repeating the authorization steps.

Send the hand-off details securely

Submit a support ticket with your domain, chosen edition, required licenses and confirmation that authorization is ready. Do not post passwords, recovery codes or billing-card details in the ticket.

Notify-IC completes provisioning

We import the customer, select the approved billing plan and license commitment, and complete the transfer in Google’s Partner Sales Console. Your super administrators receive Google’s transfer notification.

Important: transfer the subscription—not the domain registration.

Your Workspace primary domain, Gmail data, Drive files, users and DNS remain with the organisation. A registrar domain transfer is a separate process and is not required to change Workspace billing management.

Trial clarification: Google’s direct website currently advertises a 14-day trial. Reseller trial availability and duration can differ by offer, product and region. Notify-IC confirms eligibility and the exact trial period before provisioning.

Eligibility and billing checks

Transfer limitations

  • Email-verified Business editions must verify domain ownership first.
  • Organisations with multiple Workspace or G Suite subscriptions should contact Google Sales for the transfer.
  • Workspace for Nonprofits and legacy free G Suite editions must move to an eligible paid edition before reseller transfer.
  • Subscriptions within one product group must transfer together.

Billing considerations

  • Google bills direct customers up to the transfer date; two bills can occur in the transfer month.
  • Annual prepaid Google payments are not refunded.
  • Refunds for amounts prepaid to another reseller are at that reseller’s discretion.
  • License commitments generally cannot be reduced during transfer except near an annual renewal window.
